A Week In Wales (4/7)

These pictures were taken when I spent a week in Pembrokeshire with Mark and my mother during September 2002.

After the picnic we walked along the harbour. Here I am with my mother June enjoying the views and the sunshine. During our whole week in Wales there was no rain!

In this area of Wales there are several standing stones dating back to neolithic times. Here is one on the road between Vachelich and St. David's. We bought a sack of Pembrokeshire potatoes from the nearby farm.

On our last full day we visited the Aquarium in St. David's. This is a Ray fish. Many of the specimens are collected locally.

Here is my mother next to a Golden Sea Bream.

These flat fish are well camouflaged against the brown pebbles.
