A Long Weekend in Cornwall (7/8)

These pictures were taken during a long weekend break in Devon and Cornwall during March 2003. Little was planned and we stopped at a different B&B each night.

Mark likes strelitzia flowers so this seemed like an excellent photo opportunity.

Photographing the butterflies was fun but sometimes a bit tricky. This one would not open its wings long enough for me to take a picture but it still looks fine with them closed.

This one, whilst not being particularly colourful, had interestingly shaped wings. The right wing appears slightly damaged.

This butterfly was a beautiful orange colour which showed up well against the green foliage.

Whilst this one has lime green spots on its sides which may help to disguise it amongst the leaves.
