A Week In France (6/8)

These pictures were taken when Mark and I drove around northern France during September 2008.

A general view of the department store windows inside the museum. Well worth visiting if you are in the area and such things appeal to you.

Fantasy is a common theme in such displays, here the prince plays a keyboard on the wing of a dove to make music for the princess.

The same display has this lobster putting nail varnish on its claws. Place the cursor on the picture to see the footmans shoes which are rotating mice!

Our favourite display was the Tour de France from the 1950's. The story (claimed to be true) is based on a drunk turning a route sign causing the cyclists to ride into a village where the disturbed pigs run amok.

Of course the window display animates the mayhem caused with cyclists riding into the pigs and the pigs attacking customers at the local restaurant. Place the cursor on the picture for a closer look.
