Norway Cruise (1/14)
Here are some of my photographs taken during the cruise on the MS Switzerland (since then renamed the MS Ocean Monarch) from Amsterdam up the coast of Norway to the North Cape during August 2001.
The cruise started from Amsterdam so we flew to Schiphol airport and were transferred to the MS Switzerland by coach.
Soon after getting on board we had a lifeboat drill. Here is Mark wearing his life jacket.
This is a view from the front of the ship as we sailed from Amsterdam to the North Sea. With the propeller in that position no wonder it was a slow journey!
Here we are dressed up for the first formal dinner in our penguin suits.
